Jag är nu glad innehavare av en Digital AlphaStation 255 4/233. Tack till Claes, Runar och Mats J! Och tack vare DECUS och Compaqs OpenVMS Hobbyist programmet kör jag OpenVMS v7.3 med C, Fortran, DecWindows/Motif m.m. Jag har också kontaktat Oracle för att se om de kan släppa till en licens för Oracle Rdb. Dessutom surfar jag på internet med Mozilla :) Inte ett öga är torrt!!! |

At the DECUS National Event in Providence, RI, the OpenVMS Hobbyist Program
V2.0 was announced. This new offering granted by Compaq provides for OpenVMS
V7.2 (VAX and Alpha) License and over 100 Layered Products for use by the home
and hobbyist user. In order to register for licenses, you need to be a member
of a DECUS. Most of the DECUS Chapters around the world are participating in
the OpenVMS Hobbyist Program, so there should be one near you. Thanks for your
